It's just fallen tree moss on a mirror. It rained last night and the wind blew. So, you're likely to find it where it fell out of the trees on the ground. The partial broken tree branch on the upper right is only about 1 inch in diameter - will give you a clue of the moss' size. Its little delicate tentacles remind me of very fine tatted lace done by nuns in Austria or Switzerland. Moss green is also one of my favorite colors! Best viewed large!
i loooooove tha green color! and it too, is my most fav color!!! I am actually going to be painting in our place soon and i am choosing something VERY similar in color...maybe a bit lighter, im not sure yet. lol. @steveh Thank you, Steve! No, you haven't missed anything. I just get some comments on my posts about "processing" where there was none. So now I say "SOOC" when it is! LOL!
@kdimagery Thank you so very much, Kd! Moss green makes for a lovely room! It's such a soothing and even healing color to look at and take in with the eyes. Great choice, gal!
Great opportunity for a photo and you got it! Finding beauty in nature is what you do best. Love the color also . . several things in our home are mossy green. Really like lace and this moss is gorgeous. Had some in Florida when we lived there. Amazing SOOC, Maggie. Thanks for the great comment.
evening Maggie, another super shot from you....you always get excellent textures and tones in your natural history shots.....there's a lot too see here as my eyes roam around the image :)
It rained here last night too so everything is nice and squishy today, lol.. Look at all of those textures! It looks like something that might grow in my saltwater aquarium.. Very cool find!
@phil_howcroft Wow! Those are some awesome comments, Phil and the kind I'd like to read on every shot that deserves them! Thank you very much! I appreciate every one! =)
