For Carissa's theme (@crazyhorse2008). I gave up trying to do this with my camera and decided to use Photo Booth on my iMac. Chose the "glow" effect and just snapped a few. They are real low res but, since I really don't like my selfies anyhow, suits me just fine! I thought this one was the better of the few. I like all the empty black space - sat way back in my chair and got a little zoning going on, too!

I have received a reply from one of the attorneys I contacted about Pinterest's TOS and the issue of them "selling original content!" As soon as she gives me permission to post her reply, I'll do it on one of my regular posts. It really is good news for those of you who like Pinterest. I also have some additional interesting links which I will add to the post. One being from a professional photographer who sings praises for Pinterest and he is NOT a paid staffer by them! LOL!

The negative space is brilliant in this, it almost looks symbolic considering your aversion to selfies, like you almost want to be swallowed up by the black background!
Ms Maam, Now this is a complete turn-around from what I would expect to see. You could easily quality for a vampire lady---on a book cover! Excellent selfie --- brings out your dark, mysterious side ...LOL. But methinks you'd rather don a cowboy hat and wear a big smile ;-)

I think there's another Van coming that you won't be able to get out of your head! I am so sorry you have the blues. I hope everything is all right! All things do pass but, you have get through them. As for the PP, I have a perfect record of not getting there and I really don't want to ruin that record. It won't put any money in my pocket. But I do rejoice when one of my followers makes it! Seems to mean so much to most folks. As far as Pinterest, it's a matter of integrity to me. I learned a hard lesson about 5 or 6 years ago to NOT spread or perpetuate myths, lies, half truths and gossip on the internet! I learned to accept NOTHING at face value and NOT to blindly follow the blind who do NOT have the common sense to investigate these things thoroughly. Everyone can Google stuff and read and learn just as easily as I can, but some would rather start a lynching party for a hanging and NOT even bother with a trial. It's just NOT right or just. I can't be silent on the matter. I will defend what I hold to be right, just and true. I wasn't brought up to sit silent and cower about those things. LOL! So, some might think I made an ass out of myself but, it will be for the sake of integrity, justice and truth and if they can't see that, I sure don't need them. =)
Then I'm with you, Maggie. I will not fight the small stuff, but like you, I will fight the big battles. If this is important for you, then go for it. I don't like the internet much anymore either, because there's so many untruths on there. Just lots of opinions and downright lies. O.K. The PP thing. We are definitely in this together .. I thought that I held the perfect record. Anyway, after your posting today, I'm afraid that you're going to lose, my friend. So sad. :) P.S. We'll go out to celebrate your record breaking win.

I do check the PP for my followers' pics and let them know if they made it because no one is notified of it, unless some one tells you or you check it. I thought some one had told you!
