I tried to capture all the layers of clouds right up to where the sun was peeping through. Was disappointed with the original shot. However, added a little PS HDR toning and it helped bring out those layers a bunch!
Love that little opening of light coming through and the treetop is beautiful against the sky! Great job ... I've got two more days of picnik. I feel desperation coming on. lol
@karenann Be cool, there are other apps... picmonkey is one. Have your tried it yet. There was also a discussion here not too long ago of other free apps to use in place of picnik. I'd search the discussions for picnik and see if it won't pull it up for you. All is not lost. =) Thank you for your kind comments and visit, Karen! Hugs!
@maggiemae I think you're right, Maggiemae! Thank you so much for your kind comments and visit!

"layers of cloud" remember me something between real and created by photoshop :)
however that's a great shot, you take the small light across a lot of clouds :)

@simonesta The clouds are real, Simonetta. I just ehanced the slight differences in the gray shades so you could see them better. Appreciate your comments. Thank you!
so did you notice that if you look at it long enough that you can see a swan? the sun is the eye...all the white is the swan head and neck and there is even a bit of darker white that makes his bill....yes, I DO have a good imagination
@marlboromaam HA! I looked again, I think I see the bride...funny! then I had to retrain my eyes to see MY SWAN! the swan is facing towards the right of the photo if that helps.
@marlboromaam oooo...I just saw something else! the sun is a boy's ear, the brides head is his forehead, her hands are his nose and then it goes down to his opened mouth, he is looking upwards. The tree is his shoulder.
