Have stories to tell! Secrets to be revealed! What happened in these woods on Sunday - I never would've imagined...
Mid-Sunday afternoon, I saw three deputy sheriff cars with blue lights flashing at my good neighbor's driveway. I thought maybe another kid ran off the road texting or a drunk hit the ditch since these things have happened before, but no. My good neighbor is on good terms with law enforcement out here, so I was not too concerned. However, today - he told me what happened and my eyes must've looked like saucers... There was an escaped criminal the deputy sheriffs were after way on the other side of our area. My neighbor walked out of his big shed and was surprised to face him! 911 was called and the guy was held by a .45 in my good neighbor's hand until the law arrived. The guy had somehow come through our woods for two miles without detection! God bless good neighbors! Especially those who are alert, aware, well-trained, ex-army and expert marksman. =)
what a story , quite scary, your neighbour was a tad foolish to take the law into his own hands, it could have ended rather badly , just leave criminal apprehension to the professionals.
