Momma and poppa are both busy flying in the house with food and flying out for more. I know they have to be feeding baby blues. Some would open up the side to see and get a shot, but these blues have been through enough without me disturbing them.
Love this… I’m with you about not opening up the box while the birds are nesting. We put up two brand new boxes and for some reason we have other kinds of birds nesting in them… it is a first.
Nice shot! I agree, my curiosity about the ones in my yard isn't worth risking their safety. My heart goes out to the parents who work so hard to feed their families! I hope they have a successful brood.
@ososki Thank you very much, Bill. I've found enough of the exoskeletons to know what they are and there are a couple in my albums somewhere. =)
@wakelys Thank you, Susan!

@fbailey Thank you so much, Felicity.
We have two blue birds here (Blue Jays and Blue Birds) but no beautiful Poppa!
@joysabin Thank you, Joy. After I pulled a rat snake out of their first nest in this house, I think they've been through enough trauma. =)
@wh2021 Thank you.
@mccarth1 Thank you so much, Kerry! I keep a pan of mealworms nearby for them. =)
@jgpittenger Thank you, Jane.
And a most wise decision not to interfere... bless you for that!
