@ludwigsdiana Thank you, Diana. It probably wouldn't it's from a John Wayne western movie that they sang it - My Rifle, My Pony and Me was the name of it but the lyrics go...
Sun is sinking in the west
The cattle go down to the stream
The redwing settles in the nest
It's time for a cowboy to dream
Wow - what an excellent shot. I hope you don't mind it if I mention the spot at the bottom. As I scrolled down and it appeared it just seemed wrong? Sort of distracting from the great impact of the top section. I really love the feel of the rest of the image! Cheers Rob
Hot and harsh sunlight. Sometimes it bothers us and we are fed up with it. But it is this light that gives life and creates beautiful images. Lovely shot.
@frodob Thank you, Mark.
@cocokinetic They are calibrachoa which comes in all colors, but they do look like mini petunias to me. Thank you, Karen.

Sun is sinking in the west
The cattle go down to the stream
The redwing settles in the nest
It's time for a cowboy to dream
Purple light in the canyons
That's where I long to be
With my three good companions
Just my rifle, pony and me...
