Mr. Bunky's...

Coming up on Mr. Bunky's country store and restaurant. Care to meet me for breakfast? Fresh eggs, ham steaks or sausage or bacon, homemade biscuits, sausage gravy and coffee. Yum! I'm not a grits eater but they have grits or hash browns too. We won't talk about a Bunky's burger... It's got everything on it!

@wakelys It is a treat. A real old-time country store too with nearly everything you might need hardware wise, or deli wise. I haven't eaten there in years now, sadly.

Sounds very yummy. We used to have hominy as child so I guess that's fairly close.

@dutchothotmailcom LOL! I know what you mean. When I was little, I ate them like cream of wheat with milk and sugar. I'd rather have country fried potatoes with breakfast. =)

I’m not sure what “grits” are??? But they sound tasty so they are probably unhealthy???

@johnfalconer Grits are coarsely ground corn. Kind of like cream of wheat. I think it's what you eat in them that's healthy or unhealthy. Some people put cheese in them and some people eat them with fried chicken or fried shrimp. Most people eat them with eggs for breakfast. But I've never been fond of grits. I prefer hash browns or country fried potatoes with my breakfast.
