So humid and muggy - like walking into a wall of water. We're into a typical pattern of scattered thunder storms in the afternoon and evening. I know lightning struck a tree somewhere close by yesterday, but won't complain. We need the rain, but I sure could do with less humidity. For those of you in dryer climates, when you sweat out here - it does NOT evaporate and your clothes cling to you like wet glue soaked rags. It's very, very uncomfortable and sometimes - even painful!
Not my kind of weather at all anymore. I did not mind when I was younger and we lived in Japan, but cannot handle it anymore. Even the shade of your lovely woods does not help ;-)
I went through a phase recently where I toyed with the idea of moving to the Carolinas....but the humidity! I know it gets hot here in Phx, but at least it's a dry heat. I feel for ya!
You are so right about needing rain... the rain started here right about the time I began to cook outside on my smoker! I just put on a raincoat and got it done.
@photographycrazy Let's just hope the coming hurricanes won't flood us out and that some nice good rain will be all we get. =)
@yoland It can be very unbearable. Rain only makes things more muggy - unfortunately. LOL!
@kjarn Yes, but it depends on where the sun is located. Mid-day there's not much shade, but there's lots in the late afternoon and evening.
@kvphoto LOL! Whatever it takes. Better to cook outside than to heat up the house with the stove and oven.
