Coarse and rough...

At almost six months old, Will Connor's fur has turned coarse and rough. The only puppy fluffy soft hair left is on his neck and head. Phone shot.

Awww... the photo does not show coarse and rough. It just makes you want to play with it. I can;t think of a word to match what I think in my language. It's what children do with the preferred plush. Or the puppies do with their toys: play in a loving manner.
