My replacement... by marlboromaam

My replacement...

I've always kept a little cactus in my kitchen window. My bishop's cap cactus here - https://365project.org/marlboromaam/365/2020-05-27 unfortunately died this year. I'd had it over 12 years. I hope this little dangerous beauty will live much longer. Not too sure of its correct ID, but I'm pretty sure it's a type of barrel cactus.
It’s cute

This is a great picture. It will be interesting to see if it blooms next year. Cactus create some of the most beautiful flowers in the early Spring.

@mamabec Thank you! I've never had one that blooms. But my window faces south west and gets full sun most of the day.
