She's leaving the house for more food for her babies and poppa is watching close by. I envy you who can take great bird photos. This is about a good as I'm going to be able to get, but I will keep trying!
Put up a few bluebird houses before next spring, Becky! Females like a choice. Always keep fresh water in a bird bath because they love to bathe. Put out berries, nuts and grub worms and they will come! Thank you for your comments! Most appreciated!
@cindyrez I can hear the babies, every time mom or dad are on the house or in it! A couple more tips... They like their houses about 5 to 6 feet off the ground - no lower and no higher. They like their house facing east. Keep a bird bath near the house and a platform feeder with fruit like berries, some peanuts and grub worms. They don't eat regular bird seed. Be careful with squirrels!!! They will ruin things for bluebirds. Believe me - I know! Thank you for your comments and visit, as always!
@copperheadglass Thank you, Meredith! I know what you mean! I can't get closer without scaring them off and I can't zoom closer without make the picture all grainy! Not sure what else to do with my camera's capabilities. Can't afford a fancy camera that would do the job.
