Making me wait...

I've been checking on these buds for days now - waiting for them to open up. This is striped wintergreen and the little blooms are about as unusual as a passion flower. Chimaphila maculata - commonly known as Pipsissewa (Creek Indian name), Striped Wintergreen or Spotted Wintergreen.
