Four with flowers by mcsiegle

Four with flowers

For the tag challenge. My tags were B&W and Children. I know I'm cheating here. These are photos of me and my sister and brothers that my mother displays with a statue of the Blessed Virgin and infant Jesus on a side table in her bedroom. (I'm the one on the far left.) I took the statue and little framed photos various different places in her room, trying to get a shot I liked. I ended up back on the same table they started out on, and at the end took a few shots with these flowers (not real ones) and without the statue. I liked one of those the best -- though I felt guilty leaving out the Blessed Mother, so I've posted one of those on Saturday's date.

I actually took them on Sunday, but was a couple of days behind in posting and saved Sunday for the Mad Minute Word.

If I have the opportunity and get up the nerve, to photograph real live children in B&W later this week, I'll post something else for the tag challenge.
This one is artfully done as well!

This is both precious and lovely and I agree that this is the more appealing composition - a lovely timeless sense of age to this image.
