…everything fits neatly. All the characters fit into the manger puzzle frame. John challenged me to take an indoor picture lit only with natural light. Though it’s not easy to see that’s the case, the only light for this shop was from outside— mainly from the window I had this sitting next to. But there are windows with lace curtains letting in light from two other directions, so the light is less directional than it might be if there was only one source.
@grammyn@randystreat@30pics4jackiesdiamond@wakelys@summerfield@pyrrhula@taffy@johnmaguire@la_photographic Thank you all. John, it was an overcast day, so no dramatic lighting coming in the window. I love this puzzle. I bought it a long time ago after seeing one somewhere, admiring it, and then finding someone selling them at a craft fair. One of the three kings got lost, and I had my dad cut me another. Only thing that piece doesn't have is the cuts to indicate a crown. See the piece in the lower right, which is an original piece, and then the one way over to the left where I penciled in the lines. Someday, I may get around to taking a wood burner to put those lines in more firmly. The set didn't come with the faces. I thought it was a bit to abstract and so I added them and the shepherd's crook etc.
