Lovely shot! It's hard to tell from this angle, but it might be a Dragonfly - they have two sets of wings, attached in pairs. Damsels have all four wings attached in a single spot.

The blue ones are really 'flighty' - out of about a hundred attempts, I got roughly six useable shots!

On identification, if it folds its wings back when resting, it's a damselfly; whilst if it holds them out at rest, it's a dragonfly.
