I had a little 'scamper' around the woods today. Many of the ferns were just lying on the floor from lack of rain. Thankfully we are not suffering the immense heat as those 'down south'. It does irk me though that Cumbria despite being the largest, least populated county with the heaviest rainfall is the one being singled out for a hosepipe ban.
Nice angle and good close up. Hosepipe ban certainly doesn't make sense. There doesn't appear to be an efficient way of storing all the water that you do get.
