I am so glad I made the effort this morning. My husband was taking part in The Fred Whitton race. A 112 mile bicycle race around the Lake District, taking in all the Passes, one with a 30% gradient. So I took the opportunity for an early but leisurely walk in the misty woods.

I have heard about that race today as our son in law didn’t come with us to the coronation party as he was up in the Lake District watching the Fred Whitton Cycle race! Garth is a cyclist too. Hope your hubby did well. It’s a massive race!!
