I like little empty bottles. Especially tiny ones. I think they look cute. These are only an inch tall.
Unlike these bottles, people are not empty vessels. People come with likes and dislikes, fears and expectations, hopes and dreams, and very different levels of self-esteem, tolerance and comfort.
Live and let live. I live by that adage. I try, anyway. Whether you are a man or a woman, married or single, whether you are a vegetarian, a vegan or a carnivore, whether you are fair-skinned, dark-skinned or somewhere beautiful in between, whether you are gay or heterosexual or bisexual, whether you use the Queen's English or broken English or like to pepper your speech with fuck, fucking and fuckericious (and I totally made that one up), whether you like flowers or hate flowers, whether you think dolls are awesome or a sure sign of insanity, whether you are fat or thin, tall or short, young or old, whether you think I am funny or I am stupid, I have only one thing to say. The world is big enough for everyone. Live and let live.
It annoys me when I think serious stuff. *wears party hat and adds Bailey's to her coffee* Mmmm, much better!
Just an inch wow so cute; lovely shot and fabulous words; wouldn't it be an excellent world if we just live and let live instead of interfering all the time; I will take a baileys anytime too:0)
I love your shots like this! You have a way with simple and elegant and these kind of shots have much more meaning to people! LOL! If they aren't shallow in depth of character! Great job!
Beautiful . . love the clarity of the photo. Yes, we are born empty vessels, and somewhere along the way we become filled with all kinds of likes/dislikes and fear of the unknown. We're all human and we're all here together.
this makes me think of how much i love bottles and white on white (though that's a leap from the photo). Perfectly gorgeous as usual - your photos and your thoughts.
A beautifully composed picture and an example of the how a picture and text can work together to be greater than the sum of their parts. Fav'd for that very reason.
Sometimes less is better and this is one of those times! Great composition! Your commentary and photo are perfect together! PS Baileys is a must with coffee!
Well said! I love bottles - especially old ones. I got quite a few which were dug up at an old concentration camp site - brown, beautiful blue and pale green ones. I group it in my windows so that it can reflect the light (being empty) - and of course I use it for flowers as well.
gorgeous little bottles.
I love your dialogue. I think your funny, maybe a little bit crazy, in a GOOD way, lol. I like your word fuckericious. Have you heard 'fucktard'? It's a beauty and comes in VERY handy. I like to speak the Queens English peppered with swear words. Abso-fucking-lutely.
Great shot and words Livia.
thought provoking photo and text - made me very pensive as well, until I saw your party hat and bailey's comment - which made me smile again. I like your work girlfriend!
"Empty Vessels make the most noise!" our grade 6 teacher used to tell us when we talked too much. Interesting words Livia and I love your clear glass bottles.
Thank you so much to everyone for dropping by! Thank you for taking the time. I really appreciate it. I over-think things sometimes. Thank you for putting up with my crazy thoughts and colorless photographs.
Again, thank you for all your support and encouragement!
