One of my favorite rings! It's at least 15 years old if not actually older, but it still makes me smile to see it. It's big and heavy too, but I like rings (and watches) like that.
Wow, it's beautiful. I'm tiny so I can't wear huge jewellery even though I like it. It's rare I find a ring that fits for a start :/ Freakishly child-size hands, fingers and wrists.
@karenann Remote for the shutter? *is totally and shamefacedly clueless* I had the ring on my left hand and the camera in my right and that's how I took the shot. A terribly primitive way to photograph but it works for me. 8D
Sorry, Livia. I must have been "brain dead" . . people talk about taking remote pics. I have no idea how it's done either. I'm with you my friend. I would have taken your kind of photo the same way. (except that I'm left-handed!) :)
@karenann *LOL* Imagine if we attended a photography class together. We may be the most clueless people there who would actually hold something in one hand and take a photo of it with the other. 8D (And I have very mixed feelings about that, to be perfectly candid. *imagines the professional people shaking their heads and rightly so* I don't want to offend people who rightly believe the wrong method should not be encouraged. But I'm not aiming to be a professional photographer and I hope people are not upset with my photos or method.)
People LOVE your photos, Livia. And rightly so . . they're stunning. On the other hand, I think that we would "liven" the photography class up a bit with our "out of the box" thinking. :)
@karenann It amazes me, Karen, it does. I like my pictures but I'm always amazed when someone else likes them too. Wish I could go to a class with you. It'd be fun! 8D
Those colours are so powerful
