The amazing thing about this tiny burger is that it's hand-crafted. I bought it from a Yahoo! Japan auction a few years ago. It's made of clay, and came with a full set of trays, different types of burgers, hotdogs, salads and drinks. I'm simply astounded by the remarkable crafting skill of the person who made these miniature food items. So tiny, yet so impressively detailed.
Your photo of this is AMAZING! Beautiful POV. Lighting and clarity are perfect. Interesting collections that you have, Livia. So much detail in something so tiny!
oh neato! it is very well made isnt it!! i bet you can come up with some awesome photos using the different kinds of burgers etc that you got! this is a kewl capture! great idea!
i saw some of these detailed miniatures in a shop at the tokyo airport last year. when i saw it i remember saying to my friend, who buys these things? now i know who. :-] great composition. i like it.
absolutely adorable! I used to own slightly bigger food erasers also from japan when I was younger - I remember refusing to use them because then they wouldn't look "pretty"
Thank you to everyone for your comments and thoughts! *LOL* I had a blast photographing this tiny burger and I'm glad you've all enjoyed seeing it.
@tejitoki I sometimes see those food erasers in the bookstore! Those are so cute. I wouldn't use them either. 8D
@summerfield Hahaha. It's true, I do, I enjoy collecting tiny, pretty things that I have absolutely no use for. Miniature food, tiny bottles, empty boxes, colorful beads, pretty papers. I just cannot resist. 8D
Lovely shot Livia, so darn cute too
