This is a metal key that I have bought from a craft store. I really like that it has "SECRET" engraved on it. It made me wonder, does this key unlock a secret, or is it a secret what this key unlocks?
Got that close-up working beautifully! I heard that if all else fails, lower your expections! And did you ever think that half of all people are below average!
I read a book once called 'how to get what you want and want what you have' I dont remember if the book was any good but the title keeps coming back to me and 'wanting what I have' seems to be the secret to my happiness.
Great shot in B&W!..... There certainly are some situations where lowered expectations is the only way to go. Sometimes something is better than nothing.
your quote reminded me of a line I love from the movie 'As Good As It Gets"...Jack Nicholson's line was, "What if THIS is as good as it gets?" It reminds me to make the most of things just as they are, to be happy where I am and stop reaching for things that are not mine.

Brilliant composition and processing. It has a mysterious feel to it! Secrets are interesting...they can either be wonderful or frustrating and destroying.... I personally prefer the wonderful ones, even though they are so hard to keep, even if it is for only a short time!

I couldn't agree more with this!!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to thank you for your comments and insight on my shots thru the year. I finished on 11/9th but as you'll see I'm doing year 2 but with less vigor. I appreciate you sticking with me since last Dec. : )
