Hummingbird by mzzhope

Hummingbird

I am so very envious of all of the wonderful closeups everyone seems to be able to get of these beauties. My feeder is just a bit too far from the cabin. This one visited the Rose of Sharon bush right outside my window. So I took the shot through the screen and window.Hence the need for ETSOOI in Brushstroke.
love the processing...they are so hard to capture!

@mzzhope I don't see mine as often this time of year, I think because flowers are plentiful and people put feeders out in the summer. I was watching one a few minutes ago, but he was perched at least 30' up, scolding me!

Oh, but this is a good start! Next summer I'll be working on Hummingbird shots too- I've got to figure out a good place to put the feeder- and a practical way to bring it in for the night as this summer a raccoon discovered it and that became his nightly dessert before I figured it out!

It looks lovely in soft tones and dark hues. I envy the wonderful bird photos others are able to do, too. Sigh.
