Get Pushed 66 #4 Cork Wing

Burning Bush, Cork Bush, Winged Euonymus
Euonymus alatus .Most people know these for their incredible fiery red autumn leaves and berries. But the "cork" branches are so interesting.Especially when your get-pushed challenge is to look for patterns in nature to highlight in black and white!

@attraversi still spamming! :)Thank you so much, Stephanie! :)

@flutterby22 thanks Kristina. They are beautiful but they are really taking over the forest here.So many invasive non- natives were planted here back in the day before folks knew better.:(

@mzzhope my neighbor has one just beyond the fence. it is beautiful to look at. unfortunately, the local nature preserve has been taken over by Phragmites and burning bush. All of that aside, it certainly suited the criteria for your get pushed challenge and was beautifully photographed.

Great capture, Hope. Wow, what an interesting form to this weed! I wonder if it inspired 'razor wire'?
