In a Parking Lot by mzzhope

In a Parking Lot

I don’t get much of an opportunity for suburban shots. This puddle and reflection called to me. Took this in the parking lot of a Dunkin Donuts near my Moms. We had to stop and get her Boston Cremes. :)
An alternate shot for week 4 of flash of red month (shape/form, line, texture, pattern, and light) and for the artist challenge as well.

Is it a reflection of the donut shop?
February 26th, 2021
@k9photo it’s a sign in front of the shop regarding COVID.

Such a gritty shot with a ton of texture.
What was it about Jeff Wall's work that inspired this shot?

@farmreporter Rather than duplicating his photographic style I found what he says about photography very inspiring. “The concept of capturing moments” particularly had me looking at everything in a different way.

Thank you, Hope.
It was that exact concept of his that I was attracted to and the reason I chose him as an artist.

@farmreporter thank you so much for introducing me to him, Wendy!
