Chemo Tree

One of the chemotherapy treatments I was given ( Taxol) is made from the Yew Tree.Dont eat those berries!
Love this, love the in and out focus in different parts of the shot :)

Yes- so pretty to look at, but not so pretty to eat. I never knew they used them in chemo. I hope it was beneficial to you- it sounds like it was.

my brothers and i used to throw those berries at each other when we were little. I didn't know its medicinal value. Just another example of why we need to preserve biodiversity. Think if how many cures are waiting to be found? Beautiful photo by the way... Excuse the tangent :)

Beautiful shot. We had these in our yard growing up. Didn't know what they were then and didn't know until today that they were a source of a chemo agent. Hope that you're cancer-free at this time of your life.
