While I was waiting for some work to be done on my car I had a sandwich and coffee. The true English ' caff ' is something of a greasy-spoon tradition. However, I was really surprised at the decor. Colour co-ordination and good service was not expected in such an emporium. However, the sandwich lacked a certain "je ne sais quoi". And, the coffee was despicable. So, only two stars then...

Gosh i remember those places the smoke was so thick you could not see what you were eating..the worst one i ever entered was in Bournemouth it was that bad i still after all these years can bring it to mind when looking at this picture, and thy still make bad coffee in these times gosh...must be to busy colour coordinating,or they rely on us to drink anything....arrhh the good old days...ha...ha...
