This is the third time I have recently attempted this subject. I have not actually posted the results before. Peppercorns have such great texture and they are really interesting to look at. There is such a variety of textures and shapes too. I love them. However, they are difficult to get well focused because they never sit all at the same level. So some are nearly always out of focus. That is still the case here. So you may see this subject again some time...

When I saw this on the browse by day page, I thought yum, someone received chocolates! Then I clicked on it and I see peppercorns -- with such interesting characteristics, no less! Neat!
I love this! Like others, at first I thought it was a box of chocolates. Even cooler that it is peppercorns. They are so tiny, I honestly never noticed how beautiful they are. This is great. The focus is just fine.
