Identify This No. 170

Another black and meaningful metal object - what is this and what does it do?

More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Previously, in ID This No. 169... [ http://365project.org/netkonnexion/365/2012-01-18 ]
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a batter box for spare batteries. If you counted there were six compartments - so not a pill carrier then. And it had two strange shaped recepticals - for nine volt batteries. The rest were AA battery slots.
Honourable mentions...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Miley - It's an empty box Net says:-->> Nope, it has air in it! LOL.

Peter de Graaff - Medication holder Net says:-->> Nope! See above logical proof!

Brandie - cassette tape! Net says:-->> Wow! I really want to see your casset player! LOL

Alison Bailey - My first thought was a tabs. dosage thingy. Maybe this is a container for just one day's worth? Net says:-->> More reasonable, but... er... umm... Nope!

Miley - Some sort of cartridge for something. I hate these, I swear I've seen one before, but I'm no clue what it is! Net says:-->> Yes! you are right! You have not got a clue. LOL

karenann - I want to see a better (more clear) photo of this! Since I won't get that . . I'll go with pill holder. Just give me the loser of the day award now and get it over with. :) Net says:-->> NOPE! And NOPE! LOL. You know what it is now though!

Paula Cook-Farkas - By golly! I think you've done it! You've made the inter-dimensional Tripodification translocational view splandilizer with phase-transition power connection eephusification! Or not... ;) Net says:-->> Well nearly, this was an early attempt at the casing! LOL. But unfortunately the tranlocational view splandilizer part actually 'disponded' in there because ultra-violet can pass through the clear plastic. So, scuppered! LOL. A Doohicky award! Yeeee haaas!

mittens (Marilyn) - A doll house (heehee). I have no idea. Net says:-->> Very small doll house! LOL.

Paula Brumbe - It is a bar coded sticker attached to a clear plastic sectional holder of important things. @aj1268 come on, I just switched to an opiate based pain killer, my mind cannot even wrap around the word inter. but I like all the really big words strung together. Net says:-->> Gotta say, the bar coded bit is not that important really! The big and important part is the batteries that are not in there at the moment! LOL.

Marilyn Wigen - I'm going to say NOT a pill holder, but that's as close as I can get! :) Net says:-->> Closer than the others then, but still no where near! LOL.

Sue Wilde - This is quite obviously a doll's house with a Snow White doll inside. I can easily see each wee room, completely furnished. Net says:-->> Wow, whois on something at the moment! Hands up! You got me there, all I can't see in that box is air. LOL>

Diana Moss - It looks like a series of room plans ? Net says:-->> Oooops! No, but a Doohicky Award! Yaahy!

Nancy Holte - Well, clearly this is the 2012 version of a shadow box. Net says:-->> Ya got me there. A shadow box? [Buries head in hands and sighs] LOL

Well, I think I got you all with that one. It was difficult. Great tries there... Keep it up!

Thanks for coming by and making comments. I love them all! See ya!

Oh it is the ever rare tool that I tried to throw across the office because it was not taking the appropriate circular bits of paper out of my important papers I was going to put in a binder.
January 27th, 2012
I agree as well.

This is obviously a confetti maker. Used to create huge mess on my office carpet.

Oh, dear, late as ever - yes, I would have gone with hole punch as well.
(You can buy boxes especially designed for storing batteries? Blimey!)
January 27th, 2012
@dulciknit - actually the box came with a battery charger. So it is used to store the charged batteries after charging until used. I use it for keeping my charged batteries for my speedlight flash units.

January 27th, 2012
Definitely a hole punch :o) xx
January 27th, 2012
I will have to agree with the paper punch group. I work at FedEx Office (Kinkos) so I handle those daily, fixing what customers mess up. So it was easy for me (that is if I am correct).

A metal object that when used properly it can make one heck of a self defense weapon.
