is that a trick question? :-) i'd retake it without the stone on the right side to give a better perspective of the expanse. this way it makes me feel i'm missing something. but it is a beautiful shot nonetheless.
Viewed close up it comes into its own and we see the view thro more. However I like the rocks as a framing, lots of texture and different colours in them. Lovely shot.
Is it Brimham Rocks?
I like the layers, and the different parts that draw your eye, but like others I'm not entirely sure about the rock on the right...
Nice shot though.
Oh man, Damon - I'm sooo there! Want to get my hiking boots right now. LOL That is one jumble of lines for sure, but leave it to you to make it work. :-) All my best, Les
I really like this shot - think I'd prefer it without the rock to the right, it detracts your eye from the rest of the scene because it's so dark....It is a great scene though and the light is great - love those people on the rock out there to define the scale
Wonderful shot and I like the rock to the right I think it helps to frame the shot and brings a sense of calm to the shot. I love the people in the distance who add a sense of scale & interest to the shot :-)
would love to walk right into this scene. althou i like the color you have so many interesting shapes and textures in this captured that i found myself wondering what it would look like in b&w.
My goodness- I don't know how I missed so many of your shots! Yes, I think the lines work wonderfully. It's interesting to me that this view is very similar to some of the ones we see from the top of our mountains here. There's enough of a difference in the type of rock to know it's not PA. but the valley beyond looks so much like the ones here. Very pretty!
There's a lot going on but I like it. The subject, colours and composition are pleasing, as is the framing. I think I would have liked the rock on the right (at the right edge) not to be quite so dark though.

Love the shot tho.
