Remember that the Canon 5D MkII is a 'Full Frame' Camera. This means it has a 35mm sensor - the same as the old film size. This is important because 'cropped' sensors in most cameras magnify the image by a 'crop factor'. Most consumer (cropped) cameras will see this plane closer with the same focal length given here. one of my goals for this year is to take a plane from its underside (while flying!) with my p&s. did it sometime ago but it was an epic fail :-) haha! my shots were either without nose or without tail. but i'm looking forward to your lessons. great shot, by the way. i like it!
