@robinwarner - Yes, its a great lens. But fish-eye is only suited to certain types of shot in my experience. I try to use all my lenses at some time or other, but I cannot carry them all with me. So inevitably this means some are left in the safe most of the time. This is one I often think about using more, but don't get many opportunities.

@dpenner - This clock has been in my family since about 1820 which is about when it was made. It is very knocked about and is probably not worth much, but it has been lovingly restored recently after sitting in my garage for 7 years with woodworm. We don't know much about its history, but it belonged to my grandfathers, grandfather. I am guessing that the makers were not followers of Roman mathematics!

This is funny with that big girth on the clock...I think it's great.

Love this, never tried a fish-eye lens.

@lilian - They are great fun. But you do have to think about the place they would be most effective. The do not lend themselves to every shot.

Great work I always wanted a fish eye lens but the Nikon ones are very pricey. I did think to get a stick on one for the iphone!

With such a nice painted face the clock will be quite sought after. We had one in the same style that was my maternal grandmother's and her father's before that it always went to the eldest child. My father went and sold it - my mum was furious because it was my brother's not his to sell. He got quite a bit for it. I wish it was still in the family ticking away I loved it.
