Ham House - Bust closeup by netkonnexion

Ham House - Bust closeup

Here you see the wall with one of the busts in closeup. The deterioration and weathering is obvious. But the fisheye lens really makes the bust stand forward. In reality the wall is a continuous curve around the garden with the busts on the inside of the curve. So this is an artificial view to give you a closeup. The fisheye is great with rounded subjects.

So this is what fisheye does . . can I just follow you around and watch while you take pictures?? P.S. I love deterioration and weathering . .makes the subject so interesting!

It's really clever how they build walls to bulge like that. I wonder how they do it? ;-)
Neat shot.
