Yestderday you saw...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterdays picture was a hand-pumped spray nozzle - the type you can adjust the spray on. Just twist the nozzle and the spray gets wider or tighter. This one is for spraying water on hair by hairdressers. Actually I use it to spray water on things for that dew-fresh look in photographs.
I counted four correct answers, I think...
Well done Scooter! (YahY!); timandelke; Rick Schies and Isabel M...
If you got it by snaffling someone elses answer then OK... But obviously a more difficult one today. There were plently of Doohicky awards!
Honorable mentions to...
Doug O. - Metal strap with locking mechanism. Used to bind pipes, wood, etc. into a bundle.
Net says:-->> I know just what you mean... But NO!
Mittens (Marilyn) - I don't know. All I can think of is a metal thingie with a twistie top thingie and maybe some kind of smooth thingie part underneath and maybe a moon behind it.
Net says:-->> Excellent description of not having a clue! Nice one... ROFL>
Kathy A I have absolutely no idea!
Net says:-->> See Mittens, thats how to do it if you don't know! LOL>
Frances Chaloner - Something to do with a benbo trekker tripod leg- lol! I am stumped...
Net says:-->> You have the weirdest ideas about tripods! Actually, just remembered you have a bunch of quadrapods and they move around alot. So I understand now...
Vicki K - Thats a thingymajig!
Net says:-->> Doohicky award no. 1.
Jennifer C - a knob that opens something when you twist it in the right direction!!!!!!!!
Net says:-->> Sort of, but I was sort of hoping for a recognisable answer... LOL.
Lesley Barber - No,no,no! Its a doodah...
Net says:-->> Doohicky award no. 2...
Peter Gibson - It's a Thing-A-Ma-Jig, seen one before! :-
Net says:-->> No its not. Doohicky award no. 3...
Alta D© - a bottle opener?
Net says:-->> You must have weird bottle tops...
Paula Brumbe - beautiful composition of aforementioned object that has a clarity that is highlighted by the light. Great shot of a metal twist top.
Net says:-->> Jolly good show! (JGS for those in the know!). But wrong, or is it right, no wrong... I give up. Not sure on this one. Anyway it's made of plastic. LOL>...
Liz (fotomama) - something that requires opening and twisting...
Net says:-->> So a jar of pickles then? LOL!
Anita Hoyle - crown cork remover, probably pub type.
Net says:-->> NO... Wow, some weird bottles around!
Thanks for trying everyone - a difficult one today and well worth the effort you all put in.
See you tomorrow.
Enjoy!
