Yestderday you saw...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Difficult one yesterday? I think it was not easy to be precise. How did it go?
Paul Kelly - top marks; Howard N; Doug O. - Oblique reference but I got it; Rick Schies; Keith MacKenzie - not exactly, it was pliers, but you were looking at the wire stripper part; Philip Cole - bolt cutter - not exactly, but given; Kathy A - given on the reversal; Mimi Ditchie; Sue Wilde - very precise and excellent technical terms used. So, a correct answer AND a Doohicky Award!!!! Paula Brumbe - given on the rebound since you included everything it could possibly have been! And Finally, Scooter who saw the idea, but could not see the trees for the wood (you had to be there).
Well done you lot!
Honorable mentions to...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cheryllee - A large keyhole? Net says:-->> Fell into my perfect trap! Mega-creepy evil chuckle... LOL...

Paula Cook-Farkas - An opening into the dark depths of hell... Net says:-->> Errr... No. But, so inventive I will reciprocate with a "Darkest, Deepest, Dastardly Award for Devilish Design" as a one off. Put your hands together everybody for PC-F... Yayh!!!!!!!

Ryncediez - beautiful! Net says:-->> I think that kinda missed the point Ryncy! LOL.

Nancy Holte - Hmmmm. . . but I'm going to take a stab in the dark, just to be different. Let's go with a sundial. Net says:-->> Yup! As predicted you are wrong. But a Doohicky Award People!!! Yayh!!!

Peggy Sirk - I thought it looked like a railroad spike... Net says:-->> Silence was the stunned reply... ... ... ... ... ...OK. A Doohicky Award ladies and Gents. YahY!!!

Michelle Young - Oh I don't have a clue, a keyhole maybe, but I do like the shot. Net says:-->> Ha! Another perfect entrapment. LOL...

Sean - It's a very cool shot of whatever it is! Net says:-->> Why thanks! You're pretty handsome yourself.

Camille Bisson - looks like part of some sort of turn mechanism that closes to the top there. Net says:-->> Well, I looked at it from every angle and could not see what thats about. So, its a day for special awards. You get the "Bizarre and Incomprehensible Award" for Today. Er... Yay? LOL...

Mike Warren - Keyhole 17th century? Net says:-->> Ah ha! You fell into my antique trap. Perfectly laid by my time traveling team. Tee hee...

Ring pull on a soda can but I think that's what has already been said but in a different language.
June 27th, 2011
Yes it looks like a tab to a soda can.
June 27th, 2011
I agree with the tab on a soda can
June 27th, 2011
ah, I think I know this well, it is a lifted metal tab on a can of beer or a can of champagne.
June 27th, 2011
I have to echo the others with a metal pull tab from the top of a can of beer or soda. But WAIT A MINUTE here, Paula @brumbe mentioned a can of champagne. Champagne comes in cans? That must be some European thing. I've never seen Champagne in a can, although I'm not really a drinker so it's entirely possible I just haven't been to the right stores.

@nana Sophia from the Francis Ford Copalla Winery. I will admit that the bottle is much better than the can. http://www.franciscoppolawinery.com/wine/sofia/mini

@pwallis I am going to visit the area in September, so I will make sure to pick up some. We actually have two restaurants here that serve it in a can.

June 27th, 2011
Not a ring pull to open a can but something that if lowered closes and locks something...Oh...and it's very shiney
June 27th, 2011
I think its a ring pull, you know, those little things you see scattered all over the grass after every outdoor event!!!
