Todays object is commonly in use today, we have already forgotten its forerunners - what is it? Have fun!

Yesterday you saw...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday was a disposable razor. Yaaayh! I think everyone got it. Congratulate yourself if you got that. Also, it seems that more than 50% of the population use them... Sorry, my bad! Women obviously don't cut their top lips as much as the men or I would have noticed.
Honorable mentions to...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Howard N - It's a razor, without a doubt. But I'll say it is a razor that had been used and rinsed prior to the photograph, by the looks of the moisture strip... Or maybe not. Net says:-->> Razor yes! Used first? NO! Eeeeeuwww! LOL.
Camille Bisson - disposable razor with one of those aloe things so you don't wack your legs and pits to pieces. . . Net says:-->> OK this one does have a soap moisturiser strip. But I never say "Aloe" to my razor and I have never shaved my legs (0uch!)... LOL.
Kathy A - This is a razor but I'm a bit confused about which half of the population it is familiar to? Net says:-->> I am confused now too. So maybe the half that uses dry shavers? I have no idea... LOL. Sorry.
Rick Schies - That's sharp :) Net says:-->> Ah ha! Rick shows his cutting wit there! LOL.
Nancy Holte - By Joe, I think I've got it! AND, I figured it out BEFORE I read everyone else's comments. It's a razor with a lubricating edge. Maybe my detective career isn't totally in the toilet. :-) Net says:-->> Wonderful! Congratulations on becoming the first toilet detective... LOL. However, I wonder about your writing career. Don't you mean "By Jove!", which is the Shakespearean term? See:

Mike Warren - Double edge. Net says:-->> Ah! But it cuts both ways! I hope you meant razor! LOL.
Deb - Oh,man...now I remember what I forgot to buy at the store today...a razor ! Thanks for helping me remember ! Net says:-->> Wow! That five'o'clock shadow is such a pain! Glad to help Deb... ROFL...
Paula Cook-Farkas - If you ask Balint, it is a cruel device that tortures the skin by ripping the very hairy fibers from the face! Net says:-->> I think that gets todays special award, the "Blunt Face Stripper Award!", YAAAYiiiAh!. ROFL>>> Like that award!
Sue Wilde - It's a very up close and personal shot of a personal bathroom device. Net says:-->> My mind has never been so boggled! LOL...
Eddy J. W. - throw away razor, Net my brains are hurting nice job.... Net says:-->> What!!!? You shave your brains? LOL tee hee!
Well people, no Doohicky award today, the field is wide open for tomorrow. Have fun!
Thanks for stopping by and for being so kind about my illness. I will be back to comment on your photos once I get my strength back.
