Identify This! No.62

Todays object is a prickly character - can you work it out?
More about "Identify This"... http://365project.org/netkonnexion/number03/2011-05-11

Yestderday you saw...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Too easy yesterday. It was the stainless steel lid for my new 9litre cassarole pot for doing stews. Yum. Congratulations to all those who got it right. Well done!
Honorable mentions to...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MaryBeth Dailey - Lobster pot lid? Net says:-->> Well a pot lid yes! Lobsters get caught in a netted trap. Still got the pot bit! Well done...

Paula Cook-Farkas - This is Paula calling the kettle silver, not to be confused with the pot calling the kettle black. Because there is a difference... Net says:-->> OK and the difference is? LOL...

MaryBeth Dailey - and on second glimpse of the above pic, I know it is not, but it reminds me of a very silvery, stylized high heel Cinderella shoe. Is that accurate enough? Net says:-->> Accuracy and correctness are two different categories! So, you don't get tonights award for accuracy! LOL...

Lisabell - A pot lid! A silver pot lid! Net says:-->> Yaaahayaya!!!

Doug O. - Handle to a glass pots and pan cover. Net says:-->> Stainless steel actually. Sorry Doug! Good effort but wrong! LOL...

(Here we go, its Howards turn...)
Howard N - I was going to say it was some sort of stainless steel, medievil shield lying face down, probably after some jousting episode where Sir Knight was removed from his mount, but thought better, and decided it was a stainless pot lid. Net says:-->> LOL Howard... Nice one. You get tonights "Medievil Nutters Award"! Yeahhaha! LOL.

Paula Brumbe - I will do a literary device for my answer, but will make you identify which one. "pot top". Net says:-->> OK, clever pants - you get tonights literary prize, the "Civic Radar Award for Level Palandromic Observation!" Yaaaayaaaha! LOL,... (did ya see them?).

Mimi Ditchie - Bolt on rear-view mirror? Net says:-->> Wow! Didn't see that one coming up from behind! Clever enough to get a "Doohicky Award"!!!! Yahaya! LOL...

Tashy - Saucepan Lid. I got there without the other comments, honest! Net says:-->> OK, I believe you! Yaha!!! (Just a little cheer there) LOL.

Liz (fotomama) - metallic pill and spoon server...yikes! hope you don't take too many of these:))))). Net says:-->> LOL... OK a Doohicky Award for that one!!! Yahhaya!!!. LOL.

I had fun on this one. I hope you had fun too.

I have been back at my desk today, but did take a rest this afternoon. So looking after myself...

See you tomorrow.
Enjoy!

My very first thought was "leadless pencils" which are used for transcribing only the most secret of top secret memos. Then I wondered how Mr. Net would come upon them, and changed my mind. The EXIF info was not helpfull... So, I must concur, either wooden toothpicks or skewers they are!

Do you have a pet hedgehog or a sea cucumber? If not, then I’m going to guess wooden toothpicks.

July 12th, 2011
Oh! I did not mean the trap for the lobsters. I meant a bright metal pot that is really big....for cooking the poor old lobsters. :0) I guess I was not "accurate" enough! Haha!
July 12th, 2011
I cannot make a fair guess today....saw someone saying wooden skewer and I think it is that! So no awards for me tomorrow. :0)
