Mush

I took this photo of Mush (his nickname at school was Mushroom which got shortened to Mush) on his wife's birthday. He's looking at her and I think you can really see the love in his expression.

Lovely portrait! You're right, the very slight smile demonstrates the love and warmth he feels towards the object of his gaze.
