Fledgling Thrush by nickspicsnz

Fledgling Thrush

I think two of the thrush babies have survived. They were moving and flapping around in the nest the day before this was taken. Not sure if they tried to fly or just fell out, but the nest is empty and this one has ended up in nearby bushes. I can't see the other one but they're difficult to spot amongst all the leaves so I hope it's in there somewhere. He/she sits very still and very quietly waiting for the parents to come with food. It's survived at least one night in the bushes so I hope it reaches adulthood.
Sweet!

Very cute. If the parents are still feeding it, then it will hopefully be ok.
