As well as all the calls echoing across the wetlands during the recent big fire, birds were flying away. I hope these geese didn't have to leave babies behind. Fortunately they got the fire out the day after I took my photos. Not the best pic because it's heavily cropped but these were the only birds I managed to get in a photo.
