Raindrop by nickspicsnz

Raindrop

Out walking in the rain today I loved the raindrops that were like stars all over a pine tree. They were clinging to the ends of the pine needles.
Really awesome shot

@anthonyt @alextheseal @rickster549 @hippiechick13 @catsmeowb @bkbinthecity @karengail @geeish1488 @fjmom @alinz @jengil01 Goodness me, I logged on to have a look at everyone's photos this morning because I haven't had a chance to have a proper look for a couple of days. I was amazed and excited to see my pic on the popular and trending pages. Thank you all so much for your lovely comments and favs.

@catsmeowb @karengail @geeish1488 Thanks very much. When I take close ups I often have the Auto Focus set on single point but for some of the shots I took this time I used manual focus (although I don't know if this one was Auto or Manual). If I'm outside I use the continuous mode so that if there's a bit of breeze and what I'm trying to shoot is moving I take a few shots in quick succession. That means although some may be out of focus some are in focus too. Because I only have kit lenses I can't get really close macros but I crop right down to get as close a close up as possible. I don't know if this info helps at all but I always find it useful to find out how other people get their shots.

Well done... This is a great shot... And I agree it's always good to know how people get their shots. Thanks for sharing.

@nickspicsnz thanks for that info, I'm currently just on a point and shoot camera, it's quite good quality but have promised myself if I am still dedicated at this for 6 months I'm shouting myself a proper one.
