Kitty Cat

Stray animals are found all over the city of Athens, from the ancient monuments to the modern parts of the city. It is estimated that there are more than 3 million stray animals across the nation with many in Athens. Per one of our guides, the issue has gotten exacerbated with COVID. However, he stated that people watch out for and feed the animals as could be seen in our wanderings through the city.

Greece is definitely overrun with cats, sure wish people would help that situation. However, I do love cats and made a really nice Greek Cats calendar from all my photos of them!

Yes. I saw a lot of cats in Greece. They seemed pretty mellow. I think I saw this EXACT kitty at the Acropolis & Parthenon in Athens in May of 2022!!!

@njmom3 I figured out how to make the photo public! I forgot that I have 3 weeks of travel pics I never finished by title, quote or description! I have work to do...but you can now see the kitty! Nice to know the cat is still OK two years later. :)
