I had originally intended for this to be one of those whimsical human-free shots... he photo-bombed me ;p
Have to wonder what he thought of me, sitting flat out on the pavement in my nice business skirt, etc taking pictures looking up... but really, he never gave me a second glance... came down the stairs, stepped around me and was gone...
Thank you everyone for the comments and favs on my strawberry splash... I have to confess it was easier than I thought it would be and came out much better than I had hoped... still not my kind of photography, but nice to know I can pull it off when pushed ;p
I like the photo a lot - and enjoy the background description. I always feel more conspicuous if I'm out and about in my work clothes while trying to get a shot - particularly if I'm flat out on the ground. :) Cool graphic for your ID. :)
This is great! I wished there was someone behind you taking a photo of you taking your photo! Lol! I'm certainly glad you were photo bombed as when I first looked at this, I thought you were taking me DOWN the stairs. His presence at the top surely puts this photo into perspective! Well done!
Cool shot & great pov, love your description :)
I always carry an old bath towel in my car so I can lay down on it if I need to get a low pov & not sure of the floor with my clothes!!
HaHa! I so identify with you grovelling around on the ground for this shot! I was doing that last SUnday, got a very strange look from a passer by! This is awesome, so sharp with a slightly menacing feel to it...!
I like his look down at you, but imagine what it would have been if you were lying on the steps waiting to trap him and his photo as he walked down, hahahaha. And you were only lying on the ground. We are the lying on the ground rolling around crew. Yesterday I was lying on a suspension bridge looking for a nice angle and found some leaf litter to photograph. It is our therapy. I can only hope it wasn't just a business skirt, but houndstooth Chanel!
He recognises a great photographer when he sees one! Such a good shot! The symmetry is wonderful but its your guy that makes it! For getting down in a public place like that you deserve a Fav!
you got the darkness of the stairs and railings just perfect.
it seems to me that you have grown so much as a photographer since I've first been following you. You are turning into a pretty darn good photog!
