It's, you know... a jar... and a longboard... with light and shadow and stuff... processed from RAW entirely in lightroom...
I think my brain is tilted...
Thank you all for the comments and feedback on my pouter boy shot from yesterday... just so you know, the basement crawl space is miniscule and so i am very limited as to angles and distance and such...
well, cinder block wall, a skateboard, and an empty glass jar....not a composition most people would equate with beauty, but you gave it a noir-ish feel and that makes it beautiful
Your composition is great. I love the contrast between such delicate glass on something that is usually really unstable! The light is so interesting, great shot.
I now picture you as a miner. So I have pondered this for must of the day, why the jar? I mean there must have been a reason for picking a jar, over say, a lettuce, or that you had to pick something at all. Maybe the jar makes more sense than why I should ponder such things. Well, jar or not, I quite like this, though please, no lettuce tomorrow :)
Wonderful....oh the crawl space....we had one in the house in Scarborough...it was a great play space...brought in a desk....played spies....but yup, as an adult...it wouldn't be so comfortable! But what a great work area! I like this!
You weren't kidding about the mason jar. Throw some whiskey in there when you are done and Bob's your uncle.
Very interesting combination of items...the great lighting makes it all work.
Fav.
And funny
