at one point this morning yahoo weather said it was -24C (and apparently -40 something if you account for windchill)... i dunno - i mean, ya, sure it was cold... but it didn't feel like my eyeballs were about to freeze solid, and that's pretty much my litmus test ;p
tx for all the kind views and favs on my bit of glycerin from yesterday... it really was a very easy set up... just took a bit of experimentation to figure out how big the drop should be (the smaller the better) and how high the glass it was sitting on should be off the floor (higher is better)...
Interesting explanation of the weather! LOL! So at what temperature does it feel like your eyeballs are freezing? My hubby says anything above 112 degrees F makes it feel like your eyeballs are cooking.
My litmus test is when the snot freezes the nostrils together when breathing in trough the nose. I very much like the rotation and black/white split between the left and right side of image.
The guy looks kinda cold but his jacket looks pretty thin, too. Love the double-sidedness of this! See and I never guessed the drop was not in motion...
I love your style. I should comment more often, but you have so many comments that at times I don't ... my bad! This is a pic that a true artist would have in her gallery. If there were a super-FAV, I would give it. I hope you consider an exhibit at some point ... soon.
Fav here too! Actually it felt that cold up here - all the towns just 15min north of me were on shutdown and the whiteouts everywhere. Maybe the radiation in the city made it feel warmer to you. :P
Feels a bit like across between pen and ink and loose watercolour.
FAV!
