Dragonslayer

i tried split toning once before and it was an epic fail... so the technique challenge seemed to be a good excuse to try again... i think i need something with a little more tonal range to make it work, but for me that would mean a street shot and it's just too freaking bleak and cold today... so this will have to do for now...

Nice shot and love your lighting, but yet another subject I am not qualified to comment on. :) I have never tried this and have just discovered what it is from your link. I will have to go away and try it.

That's cute. It reminds me of the book/movie "Indian in the Cupboard."

Yes, this works very well. The red is an unusual choice, but it sure works wonderfully here.

@swguevin tx... but actually, not a flashlight at all... it's a goose neck lamp from ikea and it's been the star of most of my recent set up shots ;p

Great impact with the lighting - will have to read up on the technique but I love the effects I've seen so far!
