Echidna

This week I am posting more photos taken at Oakvale Farm recently.

I love echidnas and don't seem to see many in the wild these days. I spotted one at Soldiers Point a couple of years ago though.

(I (we) have the The European hedgehog (Erinaceus europaeus) in our gardens. I know there are because I found sometimes young ones. But they are very shy .)

I do love echidnas but don't often see them in the wild. I think they are quite shy and difficult to spot.

Lucky you Katrina having lots on your property. My daughter used to have a few on her property when she lived in Olinda in Victoria.
