Son of Cedrick by onewing

Son of Cedrick

This plant used to live inside until it grew up to and along the ceiling. We recently decided to put it outside and cut it back so this offshoot could grow. I have no idea what kind of plant it is, but in our house it has always been known as Cedrick, (named by Zoe) so it is now known as Son of Cedrick.

The original plant was bought for me by Zoe for my birthday many years ago and it is good to see that the offshoot of the original plant is thriving.

The windmill I bought in Geelong just after Zoe's funeral as I needed something bright and cheerful. It seems appropriate to place it next to the plant which she bought for me.

I always knew them as "Happy Plants" but I am sure they have some latin name!!I like those water droplets running off the leaves.

@joluise David said he thought it was a Chinese money plant, but not sure what its official name is. Happy plant works for me though.

Nice contrast of the shiny and wet leaves against the red brick.

Son of Cedrick certainly looks like a 'happy' plant, with his colourful and real plastic adornment.
