I have spent the majority of today dealing with one Government Department after another and I think I need a lie down!!! Thank God I don't have to do this every day.
Today's photo is of my husband David. I might add that he doesn't always look like this. I took this photo for our photography club theme night which was 'creative lighting'.
Do you remember when you were a kid and you held a torch under your face to scare the life out of people? Well this is more or less what I did with this shot, only I covered the torch with a green filter and David volunteered to be the model for the photo.
He is much better now he is back on the medication!!!!!
After the day I have had though I am looking a bit green around the gills.
Poor you Babs, sounds like a very trying day, hope you managed to sort out what you needed to in the end! David is obviously a very good sport and this Incredible Hulk effect is definitely very striking!
Terrific pic! Sorry to hear that you are having bureaucracy problems. Remind them that they are supposed to be working for you seeing as you pay your taxes (hence, their wages).
I agree with Paul...we forget this when they wind us up!!! Im glad that when we were kids that you didnt put a green filter over the torch when Dad did this :)
I'm with Paul on this one @steampowered. WE do pay their salaries! Great image though. He looks a little sinister, but that the aim I guess! Well captured!
@steampowered Thanks Paul. Thank God yesterday is over it was driving me mad. It all started because I was expecting a letter from them and when I phoned up to find out why I hadn't received it discovered that they had sent it to the address we lived in 17 years ago!!!!. Numerous phone calls later, talking to various machines and a trip into their office , I think it is finally sorted.
@joluise Not only did it involve being on hold, I had to talk to machines for ages before I got to speak to a real person!!! Luckily I thought ahead and had a cup of tea close by!! David doesn't always look this scary, but after yesterday I was looking a bit green around the gills too. So you could say, he looked how I felt!!!
@greenpeg Thanks. He really isn't this scary normally. Can see what you mean. Friends have also said he looks like Clive James too, but probably not when he is green!!!
