David put out a seed block in the garden so that Anita could get a close look at some of our native birds. This galah came around with two of his friends, but he wasn't too keen on sharing.
We do have another dish of bird seeds in the garden though, so it wasn't too drastic that this one hogged the seeds here.
@steampowered Thanks Paul. No he doesn't disappear for long, he is a regular at the moment and brings two of his friends too. Most of the parrots here are very tame and once they are used to you they will eat out of your hand. The only really shy ones are rosella's, but I got a photo of one today which is usually quite difficult.
Told Anita that you said Hi, she is having a lovely time. Never been here before, so it is quite different for her.
@iwatts Thanks so much for the fav Ian. We have got three regular galah's here at the moment, luckily two of them are good at sharing. @smiffy37 Thanks Eileen.
I apologise for not checking out your photos too often at the moment, but we are pretty busy showing Anita around and of course, plenty of talking.
@eyesmile Thanks Gena. Yes, keeping up with my postings, as we are out every day taking photos. Just not got time to catch up with everyone at present though. Able to catch up this morning though as we are having a lazy start to the day. Just off out now though.
