Haven't taken any photos today as we went out for lunch. Anita had her sights set on fish and chips, but because it was Melbourne Cup Day today the place we were going to for lunch was closed. Had a lovely lunch in Nelson Bay though.
We are out tonight too so today's photo is a close up of the albino peacock which I took yesterday.
Oh my! Haven't seen the one from yesterday....but will check it out. My catching up is not working out as well as I had hoped. Spotty service and sometimes no power without generator, which I can't have on for too long. Have a great time and seeing some fabulous sights. You sound like you and your sis are just having the best time. We'll catch up soon...thanks for the visits and I'll check out your other photo of the peacock.
@jackie8@yaorenliu@joeyc@zenna@eyesmile@sunraye@joluise Thanks to all for your comments. Sorry for the group reply, but I am so busy at the moment. Haven't even taken a picture today. Will have to put a filler in when I get chance.
@smiffy37 Thanks again for the fav Eileen. I think peahens are the females. Technically I don't think this is an albino, as white peacocks have a genetic mutation that is known as Leucism, which causes the lack of pigments in the plumage. Not very well up on that subject though so could be wrong.
